Sir Stirling Moss is a remarkable character; a proper ‘Boys Own’ hero from a bygone age where men where men and women cooked and cleaned and did as they were told (well, in public, at least). Update 4/7/2011: No, we don’t know what happened to Jeremy’s McLaren MP4-12C piece either. The BBC told us it was on, but instead we got James May and the Aston Martin Virage. Not that there’s anything wrong with May and an Aston, but we had our juices going for the McLaren.
Classic Factory is building the Lyonheart K – an E-Type Jaguar for the 21st century – and is increasing production numbers and adding a convertible. It started out as the E-Type Growler and then became the Lyonheart K. And whatever its name it’s still a recreation of the iconic Jaguar E-Type in the mould of the Eagle E-Type Speedster.
